Bay Port High School

Bay Port High School was authorized as an IB World School in April, 2011, with classes beginning in September, 2011.  We are excited to join the over 2000 schools in 140 countries offering the IB Program to students.

Bay Port is pleased to offer the IB Program as one of many challenging academic programs available to students at Bay Port because IB:

• Is an internationally recognized program that gives students additional advanced opportunities for competitive admission to colleges and universities
• Has a strong international dimension to prepare students for success in an increasingly global society
• Gives special emphasis to learning languages
• Focuses on developing the skills of learning
• Provides opportunities for individual and collaborative planning and research
• Encourages students to become responsible members of their community

and Deadlines

• The next Parent-Student IB Informational Meeting will be held on December 6 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Bay Port Forum Room.
• A Student IB Informational Meeting will be held on December 13 during 12th period for any sophomore interested in taking the Full IB Diploma Program.
